GTDI Covid-19 Municipality Update – March 30, 2020

*Situation is ever evolving, information current as of March 30th, 2020 morning.

Simcoe County

– County Administration Centre is closed to the public, the call centre remains open and skeleton staff continues to work.
– County Council has been cancelled until April 9th
– No Change as of March 30th

Grey County

– The Administration Building will be open during regular business hours, but limited staff will be available on site.
– Staff are working remotely
– Council/Committee meetings cancelled until April 8th
– No Change as of March 30th

Municipality of Meaford

– All Municipal offices are closed until further notice.
– All scheduled Council and committee meetings are cancelled until April 14th.
– Staff working remotely when available
– No Change as of March 30th

Town of The Blue Mountains

– All Municipal offices are closed
– Town essential services continue operating, and other staff are continuing to work remotely
– All Committee and Council meetings have been cancelled until April 17th
(with the exception of Monday March 30thSpecial Meeting of Council which will be live streamed)

Town of Collingwood

– Town Hall closed until further notice (staff available by phone)
– Council and Committee meetings are postponed until April 20th, Planning & Development services continue to convene statutory pre-consultation meetings, scheduling meeting tentatively and confirming as conditions warrant.
– April 2ndCommittee of Adjustment meeting is under review.
– No change as of March 30th

Town of Wasaga Beach

– Municipal offices are closed to the public
– Staff remain available by phone and e-mail during regular business hours
– No Council/Committee of the Whole meetings scheduled for April, except for April 28thto advance the business of the municipality.

Township of Clearview

– Administration office is closed to the public
– Council and Committee meetings are cancelled until further notice
– Staff remain available by phone and e-mail
– No change as of March 30th

Niagara Escarpment Commission

– The NEC offices are closed to the public until further notice.
– Commission meetings are cancelled until further notice
– The NEC is continuing to provide services via email and telephone.

Grey Sauble Conservation Authority

– All GSCA buildings are closed effective immediately.
– Staff are working remotely during this time and are monitoring emails.  Staff will not have access to voicemail during this time. If you wish to email a staff member visit their staff directory for email addresses.

Nottawasaga Conservation Authority

– John Hix Administrative Office is closed.
– NVCA staff will continue to provide service to residents, municipalities and stakeholders.
– NVCA permit pre-consultations will continue to be available. Watershed residents looking to book a pre-consultation regarding permits can email permits@nvca.on.cato book a telephone meeting with our regulations staff. Pre-consultation meeting requests will be processed in the order they are received.
– Regulations staff will be available to answer any questions regarding permit applications. Please email your questions to permits@nvca.on.ca.
– Planning staff will be available to assist with planning applications. Please email any questions regarding planning applications to planning@nvca.on.ca.
– No change as of March 30th
