George was a Municipal Councillor for the Town of Wasaga Beach for 15 years (4 elected terms) and served as a Municipal Representative on the Committee of Adjustment, Public Works Chair, and the Past Chair and past Council Representative on the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority.

Past Director of the Real Estate Council of Ontario and Adjudicating Panel Member for Complaints, Compliance, and Discipline in the Real Estate Industry.
